Identify, collect, analyze and regularly review the information systems needs of the campus community.

Design, develop, implement and maintain systems and services that meet those needs. Use a “best practices” approach to implementing systems and services.

Implement systems and services as a result of collaborative efforts between ISS, CPIT and the campus community.

Establish regular and effective methods of communication between ISS and the campus community.

Deploy systems and services that are reliable, user-friendly, intuitive, secure and responsive.

Employ industry standard methodologies and technologies to develop and implement all systems and services.

Develop and maintain documentation and procedures to support systems.

Ensure systems compliance with federal, state and local legislation and regulations.

Provide guidance and counsel to the University on the use and management of information, technology and systems.

Continually investigate new techniques and technology to enhance CUA’s ability to process information.

Regularly review internal processes and procedures for quality control, compliance and efficiency.

Establish relationships with appropriate external-CUA institutions to further enhance our ability to introduce and maintain quality services and systems.
