The Catholic University of America

Cardinal Station is the CUA web-based system that allows students to perform enrollment management self-service activities: register for classes, view class schedules, check grades, change contact information, and a wide range of other activities related to academic records at the University. It also allows faculty to check student rosters and to enter grades, staff to perform various administrative functions and all University employees to perform Human Resource self-service activities.

Having problems logging on? Please view the appropriate column below for assistance.

Students, Faculty and Staff

You can (and should!) use your CUA network logon username and password to log onto Cardinal Station.

(Students, if you have not matriculated, or have not yet activated your CUA network logon account, please use the instructions in the column to the right.)

Please follow these steps in sequence if you are having trouble logging onto Cardinal Station.

  1. Make sure you are typing your Cardinal Station password in the correct case.

While your CUA network logon username is not case-sensitive, your password is case-sensitive.

You must type the password exactly as you do to log onto classroom or office computers on campus.

  2. Try logging onto home.cua.edu.

If you are having trouble logging onto Cardinal Station using your CUA network logon password, it could be because your CUA network logon password has expired or has some other issue. To verify that your CUA network logon password is working a-okay, please use it to log onto home.cua.edu.  The logon box is in the top right corner on the home.cua.edu page.

If your CUA network logon username and password doesn't work to log onto home.cua.edu, you can use the "Forgot your password" link on that page.  Follow the instructions to select a new CUA network logon password. This will include using the new password to log onto home.cua.edu.

If you can log onto home.cua.edu with your CUA network logon account, you should be able to to use the same username and password to log onto Cardinal Station.  (Remember--the password is case-sensitive!)

  3. Contact the Technology Services Help Desk.

If you can log onto home.cua.edu successfully with your CUA network logon account, but are still unable to use that same username and password to log onto Cardinal Station, please contact the Technology Services Help Desk.

If you open a ticket or leave a message, please be sure to provide both your CUA e-mail address and a phone number where you can be reached.

Non-Matriculated Students and Alumni

Non-Matriculated Students

When you applied to the University, a Cardinal Station User ID and password were sent to you in postal mail. Your Cardinal Station User ID is the first four letters of your last name followed by four or five numbers. The letters must be typed in all upper case.

Your Cardinal Station password works with this User ID.

If you have forgotten your Cardinal Station User ID or password, please contact the Technology Services Help Desk.

If you open a ticket or leave a message, please be sure to provide both an e-mail address and a phone number where you can be reached.

Once you are matriculated, you will receive a CUA network logon account that can be used to log onto Cardinal Station.

Alumni

Alumni retain access to Cardinal Station so that they can perform certain self-service activities.
