Graduating Students
Technology Resource Information for Graduating Students
What happens to students' access to campus computing resources once they graduate?
Cardinal Station
Alumni retain access to Cardinal Station. Unofficial transcripts are available through Cardinal Station.
E-Mail
CUA alumni are highly encouraged to take advantage of the Alumni Online Community's free "E-mail for Life" forwarding service. Using this service, alumni may obtain a CUA alumni forwarding address that can be directed to any Internet service provider e-mail account. The CUA alumni e-mail address is very convenient for use in resumes and other job-related correspondence. For more information and to sign up for this free service, please visit the Office of Alumni Relations web site. (Note that this does not automatically forward your existing cua.edu e-mail.)
Graduating students are able to access their cua.edu e-mail through CUA Webmail for 365 days after graduation. This provides time to notify correspondents of their new CUA alumni e-mail address and to handle any outstanding messages.
Computer Labs and other Campus Computers
Graduating students retain the ability to log onto computers on the campus network, such as those in computer labs, for 30 days after graduation. This provides time to download and save files that may be stored on "My Files" (the M: drive) to a USB memory device or writeable CD.
