Log onto the CUA Network

Your CUA Network Logon Username and Password

Before you can log onto the CUA network, including home.cua.edu and the Webmail sites, and computers in classrooms and Users' Areas, you need to know your CUA network logon username and password.

All students have two (2) accounts at CUA: your network logon account, and your Cardinal Station account.

I can log onto Cardinal Station. How do I find my CUA network logon information?

You can find your CUA network logon information using Cardinal Station.  Log onto Cardinal Station, and then navigate as follows.

1. Click "Student/Faculty Self-Service".
   
2. Click the "Portfolio" tab.
   
3. Click "Your Email and Network Login".

Both your network logon Username and your CUA e-mail address are displayed.

If you have not logged on before, instructions for determining your temporary, first time password are included.

I don't remember either my Cardinal Station or CUA network logon information. What do I do?

You will need to contact the computer Information Center by calling 202-319-4357 (-HELP). Once you identify yourself by answering a series of questions, the Information Center specialists can provide you with your Cardinal Station and network logon information.

I know my CUA network logon username, but I've forgotten my password. What do I do?

The same thing: contact the computer Information Center by calling 202-319-4357 (-HELP). Once you identify yourself by answering a series of questions, the Information Center specialists can reset your network logon password.

My password has been reset, or this is the first time I am using it. How do I log on and change it to a password that I like?

To change your password, log onto home.cua.edu and select the "Change Password" link.  Be sure that you select a password or passphrase that is at least eight characters long and is hard to guess.
