Learning Management System

Using Blackboard

Catholic University currently supports the Blackboard learning management system. This system allows an instructor to post a syllabus, lesson material, course documents, and related material to a secure and restricted website. Students are granted access to this site for the duration of the course, and can access the course materials from their Internet browser at any time of day or night. Optional threaded discussion forums can be added to a course, and online quizzes or assignments can be constructed and evaluated entirely through the web interface.

Technology Services is currently looking into offering more software enhance the online learning environment.
